West Ham United's new defender Axel Disasi could potentially make his debut with The Hammers in the Premier League match against Burnley at Turf Moor Stadium, Saturday (7/2), tomorrow.
The reason is, coach Nuno Espirito Santo believes Disasi has had promising training sessions since arriving on loan from fellow London club Chelsea.
"That's what we're assessing, and we'll make a decision tomorrow. I think Disasi has done well. Physically, he's in good shape. He worked very hard physically at Chelsea, and I saw him perform well," Nuno said, as quoted on West Ham United's official website.
The French center-back was brought in from Chelsea on loan until the end of the season in the 2026 winter transfer window.
Nuno views Disasi as a strong center-back with the ability to control the ball. Disasi is considered capable of filling the void left by Jean-Clair Todibo, who received a three-match suspension after receiving a red card in Sunday's 3-2 loss to Chelsea.
