Indonesian national team player Shayne Pattynama hopes that the achievements achieved by futsal in Asia will be contagious to the world of football.
The Indonesian national futsal team has just made history after history in the 2026 Asian Futsal Cup. On Tuesday (3/2), Hector Souto's team reached the semifinals for the first time made new history by advancing to the final for the first time.
"So now it's futsal first, and hopefully later on, football too. But, you know, it's great, it's great, I'm really happy for them and also, like I said, the fans are also supporting the whole time, like an extra person," said Shayne at the Indonesia Arena, after he witnessed Indonesia's 5-3 victory over Japan in the semifinals.
