Galatasaray won 5-2 against 10-man Juventus in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 playoff at Rams Park Stadium.Two of the hosts' five goals were scored by Noa Lang, while the other three came from Gabriel Sara, Davinson Sanchez and Sacha Boey. Juventus responded with two goals, all of which were scored by Teun Koopmeiners, according to UEFA records.
Juventus had to finish the match with 10 men after Juan Cabal received a second yellow card in the 67th minute.
The second leg between the two teams will continue at Juventus' home ground at the Allianz Stadium, Turin.
Juventus must win by at least four goals to qualify for the Champions League round of 16.
Juve threatened first through Kenan Yildiz's shot which was blocked by the Galatasaray defense.
Galatasaray took a 1-0 lead in the 15th minute thanks to Gabriel Sara's goal after capitalizing on a rebound.
