Former eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao from the Philippines has switched from a planned fight on January 24 to a welterweight (66.7 kg) bout against Ruslan Provodnikov on April 18 in Las Vegas, United States.
"I'm back to give them (the fans) a great fight and I'm ready," Manny Pacquiao said in a report from The Ring, quoted.
Previously, Pacquiao had considered duels against Floyd Mayweather and WBA welterweight world champion Rolly Romero, but ultimately shifted his choice to Ruslan Provodnikov from Russia.
