Persijap Jepara management has entrusted the position of head coach to Mario Lemos and Divaldo Alves as the club's technical director to face the competition in the Indonesian League or Super League which is currently running.
"The appointment demonstrates our commitment to building Persijap sustainably," said Persijap Jepara Manager Egat Sacawijaya in an official statement quoted.
He explained that the decision to appoint the two men from Portugal was part of a strategic composition that had been carefully designed by the club's management.
This step, he said, is not a new beginning, but rather a continuation of a long-term plan that has been drawn up to strengthen the team's foundation, both in terms of technical aspects, player development, and continuity of playing philosophy.
As head coach, Mario Lemos will be solely responsible for the team's preparation, strategy, and performance in competitions. With his experience and tactical approach, Egat hopes Lemos can maximize the squad's potential and develop a strong, disciplined, and consistent playing style.
Meanwhile, in his role as technical director, Divaldo Alves will focus on developing the club's overall technical structure, including synchronizing the playing philosophy from the first team down to the coaching staff. This position is crucial in ensuring the continuity of the team's vision and direction for long-term development.
