Two Juventus officials, CEO Damien Comolli and Director of Football Giorgio Chiellini, have been punished by Serie A for their actions during the match against Inter Milan in the 25th week of the Italian League last Saturday.
Quoted from the official Serie A website, Tuesday, Damien Comolli was given a punishment of being banned from accompanying the team until March 31 and a fine of 15,000 euros (approximately Rp. 300 million).
Comolli received the ban for displaying an 'aggressive and highly intimidating attitude' towards referee Federico La Penna in the tunnel at half-time after defender Pierre Kalulu was sent off.
The sports judge's report added that Comolli attempted physical contact with the referee, which was "prevented thanks to the intervention of the Juventus coach and other members and coaches." This behavior also continued outside the referee's dressing room.
