Pelita Jaya (PJ) coach David Singleton said the players played their respective roles well, resulting in a 98-81 victory against Hangtuah Indonesian Basketball League (IBL) match.
According to him, the victory at GMSB, Kuningan, was thanks to the strong determination of Andakara Prastawa and his friends to play according to the game plan, so they could dominate the match.
"We played a little poorly in the first half, especially in the second quarter, letting them play their way, but after that we tried to make changes and improve our game," Singleton said after the match.
He explained that the hosts were able to respond to their opponents' tough resistance with improved defense and collective play.
