The pair, known as Ana/Trias, won in three games 21-11, 18-21, 21-17 at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham on Thursday local time. The victory also brought the number of Indonesian players advancing to the quarterfinals of the world's oldest badminton tournament to six.
"Thank God, we played quite well today, and the prepared pattern ran smoothly," Ana said in an official statement from the Indonesian Badminton Association.
