The Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA) is preparing a drift kart program as one of the automotive recreational activities that visitors and tourists can enjoy at the Pertamina Mandalika Circuit area, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).
"This ride uses go-karts that have been specially modified to make drifting easier, allowing visitors to experience the sensation of sliding more easily and enjoyably, even for beginners," said Pribadi Satria, President Director of the Mandalika Grand Prix Association.
He said that on weekdays, Drift Kart operates in the rear paddock area with a special layout designed for drift maneuvers.
Meanwhile, on weekends, this activity takes place at Turn 10, coinciding with the afternoon Lampaq session. This is a popular opportunity for visitors to try out drift karting while enjoying the circuit's atmosphere and the signature Mandalika sunset panorama.
