Yenny Wahid, Chairperson of the FPTI Central Board, admitted that she had reported a case of alleged physical violence and sexual harassment involving the former head coach of the Indonesian rock climbing team, Hendra Basir, to the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC).
"When there are allegations, they must be reported to the IFSC," he said at a press conference introducing the 2026 Indonesian National Rock Climbing Training Team for the 2026 Asian Games, at the Indonesian national rock climbing team training location in Bekasi City, West Java, on Wednesday.
He explained that the report was in accordance with existing procedures at the IFSC, so that FPTI was bound to follow or implement them.
