PP FPTI involves UN Women in transforming athlete development
The Central Board of the Indonesian Rock Climbing Federation (PP FPTI) has engaged UN Women, a United Nations agency concerned with gender equality and women's empowerment, to transform athlete development at the national training center.

PP FPTI Chairperson Yenny Wahid explained that the decision was a form of improving the quality of the organization, as well as the impact of the alleged physical violence and sexual harassment case committed by the former head coach of the Indonesian rock climbing team.

"We have created a new system to regulate the coaching and training process, aiming to protect the safety of athletes, including supervision of every coaching activity," Yenny said at the Press Conference for the Introduction of the 2026 Indonesian National Rock Climbing Team in preparation for the 2026 Asian Games, at the Indonesian national rock climbing team training center in Bekasi City, .
