Minister of Communication and Digital (Menkomdigi) Meutya Hafid emphasized that the presence of Government Regulation Number 17 of 2025 concerning the Governance of Electronic System Implementation in Child Protection (PP Tunas) provides protection for children from high-risk digital platforms.
This was conveyed by the Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid in the Ministerial Coordination Meeting on Synchronization, Coordination, and Control (SKP) of Prevention and Handling of Mental Health Problems in Children and Adolescents at the office of the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture.
"Through the Tunas Regulation, the government has postponed the age of access for children to high-risk digital platforms to 16, and for lower-risk services to 13," Meutya said.
