PSSI Executive Committee member Arya Sinulingga admitted to being concerned about the flight situation, which could potentially impact the arrival of Indonesian national team diaspora players ahead of the FIFA Series agenda.Arya said the international flight situation, particularly involving routes from Europe and the Middle East, remains uncertain, so PSSI must find the best travel options for the players.
"This is the FIFA Series, but with Eid coming soon, it's bound to be interrupted. So, hopefully, preparations will be made. But I'm also a little worried about our flights. If there are only a few who can compete, they'll be from Europe. We know the situation in the Middle East," Arya said when met.
"We'll try to find a way to determine whether it's possible to fly to Indonesia or not," he said.
Arya added that until now PSSI has not even confirmed the purchase of plane tickets because it is still waiting for developments in the international situation.
"We don't know yet how it will work, or which route. Whether it'll be through the United States or not, we don't know yet. We'll assess the urgency and see if the coach can find a solution. We'll figure out what's best," he said.
