Indonesian women's doubles badminton players Rachel Allessya Rose and Febi Setianingrum are evaluating their attacking and defensive game plans after being eliminated in the first round of the 2026 All England.
In the first round of the 2026 All England held at the Utilita Arena Birmingham, Birmingham, Tuesday evening WIB, Rachel/Febi acknowledged the strength of the Chinese pair Jia Yi Fan/Zhang Zhu Xian in two straight games 16-21 and 17-21.
"We need to be more prepared in our defense and attack. They're not easy to kill, and in fact, in the match we were rarely able to completely stop their ball," Rachel said, as quoted by PBSI.
"We learned a lot from today's match, especially from Jia/Zhang, as they are one of the best women's doubles pairs currently. We can learn from their variety of strokes, both offensively and defensively," she added.
