Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner revealed that he has been undergoing intense training to perfect his game ahead of the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells."I think we're always trying to improve our game," Sinner said in a pre-tournament press conference, as quoted.
"I feel like we put in a great effort. It was a really tough week of training for me. We spent a lot of time practicing."
The intense training was part of a subtle but significant tactical shift. Sinner revealed that he wanted to further refine his baseline ball exchanges , an area already considered one of the strongest components of his game.
"I'm really happy with how I feel on the court, and obviously we're trying to go as far as possible in this tournament," Sinner said.
