Indonesian men's doubles pair Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani were eliminated in the second round of the 2026 All England Open due to difficulties adapting to the shuttlecock.
In the second round match which took place at the Utillita Arena Birmingham, Birmingham, Wednesday, Sabar/Reza acknowledged the strength of the French doubles pair Christo Popov/Toma Junior Popov through an identical score of two straight games 12-21, 12-21.
"We struggled today because the shuttlecock was very slow, so our attacks couldn't penetrate, and when we counterattacked, we weren't prepared," Reza said, as quoted by PBSI on Wednesday.
