Gigabyte has announced its new Gaming A18 Pro computer, which is designed to be one of the best laptops for fans of electronic video games.
The company noted that the computer combines a distinctive design with high performance, as it is equipped with a relatively thin chassis compared to computers of the same class, and has received artificial intelligence technologies to improve data processing and image accuracy while playing games.
The device is equipped with an Intel Core 7 240H processor with integrated graphics, and a separate Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 graphics processor, to handle artificial intelligence software.
The Windoforce Infinity EX system, equipped with two fans and 3D VortX technology, distributes airflow in the computer to prevent overheating during intensive use. The computer software activates silent mode for light loads, and the Icy Touch area under the WASD keyboard reduces heat, providing the device with stable performance throughout the usage period.
The computer also features an 18-inch screen with a 2.5K resolution, a refresh rate of up to 165Hz, a 3ms response time, 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color spectrum, Dolby Atmos support, and is designed to open at a 180-degree angle.
The device comes equipped with the GiMATE AI assistant, which allows for voice control of performance, power, and lighting modes, with quick switching via MUX Switch for optimal performance. GiMATE automates routine settings, freeing the user from manual adjustments.
Gigabyte equipped it with various ports to connect to different types of devices and screens, and provided it with a battery that would allow it to operate for approximately 12 hours on a single charge, with a fast charging feature that allows charging 50% of the battery capacity in approximately half an hour.
