The Indonesian Volleyball Association
has introduced a new Proliga final match format, using a three-winning set format.
Unlike previous years, this format was introduced for the final round which was planned to last for three days.
"This year's final will use a three-set winning system, with both teams competing three times," said Proliga Deputy Chairman Reginald Nelwan in an official statement on Monday.
Regi added that if one team wins two matches, the match that should have been held in three days will only last two days.
"But if the second match ends 1-1 then the match will continue until the third day," added Regi.
Likewise, the fight for third place also uses a three winning set system.
In the final round of the 2026 Proliga in the men's sector, there will again be a classic duel between LavAni and Bhayangkara Presisi.
Meanwhile, in the women's sector, defending champion Jakarta Pertamina Enduro (JPE) will face Gresik Phonska Plus Pupuk Indonesia.
The final will take place from April 24 to 26 at the Amongrogo Sports Hall in Yogyakarta. The third-place match.
