Apple is reportedly preparing a hinge made by a three-dimensional printer ( 3D printer ) for the iPhone Fold foldable phone to minimize creases on the screen.
this is the first time specific details have emerged regarding the use of three-dimensional printing technology on the iPhone Fold hinge component.
Previously, the phone was also rumored to feature liquid metal material and dual-layer glass to increase durability and reduce creases on the screen.
The adoption of 3D-printed hinges isn't new in the smartphone industry. Oppo already implemented it on the Oppo Find N6, using its 3D liquid-printed Titanium Flexion Hinge technology.
