Digital payment app ShopeePay is running the "Most Economical ShopeePay App" campaign throughout April 2026 to help people manage their post-Ramadan spending through various promotions, from 0 percent installments, cheap phone credits, to exchanging points for 1 gram gold vouchers.
ShopeePay Indonesia President Director Eka Nilam Dari said transactions on the ShopeePay app increased during Ramadan, in line with the growing public demand for various digital financial activities, including sending THR (Holiday Allowance) and purchasing daily necessities.
"We noted that transaction activity on the ShopeePay app peaked during Ramadan. This shows that people are increasingly relying on digital financial services, as usage increases for sending THR (holiday allowance) to family and meeting daily needs such as purchasing food for breaking the fast and various digital vouchers," Eka said in a statement.
