Prime Video introduces a TikTok-like vertical video content feature

Amazon's online film and series streaming service, Prime Video, has introduced a new feature called Clips, which displays short, vertical videos, similar to the content format on TikTok.

As reported , this feature is a new addition to the main page of the mobile version of the Prime Video application and specifically displays film and series trailers in short vertical video format.

Previously introduced as a preview feature for NBA game highlights, Amazon is now expanding its content offering by offering clips from movies and series available on Prime Video.

When a user taps on a clip, the app goes into full-screen mode and allows users to scroll through other vertical videos in a similar way to TikTok and Instagram Reels.

From each video, users can immediately watch the full content, rent or buy shows, save them to their watchlist, like them, and share them.

Amazon said the feature is gradually rolling out to some users in the United States on iOS, Android, and Fire devices. Prime Video will roll out Clips to all users on the platform this summer.
