RANS Simba Bogor basketball player Reggie Mononimbar will experience a special moment as he will face his former club, Pelita Jaya , for the first time in the 2026 Indonesian Basketball League (IBL) playoffs .
The IBL website stated on Thursday that Reggie is one of the players who has grown and developed with Pelita Jaya.
He played for the club from 2017 to 2025, before deciding to join RANS at the end of last year.
His long journey with his former club makes this playoff encounter a meaningful one for the 30-year-old.
Moreover, during his time with Pelita Jaya, the guard played an important role in the team's journey as a major force in national basketball competitions.
The 2026 season will be Reggie's first year wearing the RANS uniform, which is based at the SV IPB Gymnasium, Bogor City, West Java.
In this year's regular season, he appeared in 20 games, posting averages of 4.9 points per game (ppg), 2.3 rebounds per game (rpg), and 2.1 assists per game (apg).
