12 teams lock in a spot in the FFNS 2026 Fall Grand Finals

Twelve teams have secured their tickets to the 2026 Fall Free Fire Nusantara Series (FFNS) Grand Finals, which will be held in Yogyakarta.

Nine teams secured their place in the final after going through the play-in round, which featured competition between the 36 best teams in the country.

"They have the right to join the three teams that have already made it to the City of Gudeg through their achievements at FFNS 2026 Spring," said a written statement from the developer and publisher of the Free Fire game, Garena Indonesia, on Wednesday.

The 36 teams, divided into three groups, must secure a top three finish to secure a spot in the Grand Finals. On the first day of play-ins, Friday (June 12th), XOXO Pride dominated, accumulating 124 points to secure first place.

Strength GRT followed in second place with 97 points, while Jiggle secured a third-place finish with 87 points in Group A.

On the following day, Saturday (13/6), the Group B battle was dominated by MBR Omega who appeared mighty by achieving 150 points, the highest among all the play-ins teams, followed by Kagendra with 98 points and Borneo Hilang Arah who secured third place with 86 points.

Closing the three-day play-ins drama, Sunday (14/6), Group C was dominated by Gokil Jo Noh who topped the standings with 132 points, followed by Elang Esport with 109 points and Petigade who took the last ticket with 83 points.

However, not all stories have a happy ending. Two names who have been regulars at the FFNS Grand Finals for the past few seasons had to go home early this time.

Vesakha Esports, who appeared in Group B, could only finish in fifth place with a total of 84 points, a narrow gap but not enough to break into the top three.

Sriwijaya Esports suffered a similar fate in Group C, finishing in sixth place with 76 points. The absence of both teams from the FFNS 2026 Fall Grand Finals underscores the rising performance of community teams, capable of becoming strong competitors for professional teams.

The nine teams that have qualified from the play-ins will join the three podium finishers of FFNS 2026 Spring: Shadow Esports, Dewa United Horus, and Pandora Esports.

The FFNS 2026 Fall Grand Finals will be held on July 12, 2026 at Grha Sabha Pramana, Auditorium of Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta.

The best teams from across Indonesia will compete head-to-head for the lion's share of the total prize pool of Rp850 million.

In addition, the champion will also get a ticket as Indonesia's fifth representative at FFWS SEA 2026 Fall.
