Previously, Deputy Chairman of Commission II Zulfikar Arse Sadikin stated that the drafting of the 15 bills in question was carried out in a limited manner and focused on the substance that had been agreed upon with the government.
He said the drafting of the bill had gone through stages of meaningful public participation involving local governments, the community, and academics in each region that was the object of the regulation.
"When we drafted these 15 bills, we visited each regional government during the legislative process to gather input. We spoke not only with the regional governments, but also with the public and academics," Zulfikar said at the Legislative Body's plenary meeting.
