In Gaza, new Israeli strikes reignite the plight of displaced people.

According to residents, evacuation orders had been issued before the attacks. Vast craters, partially or completely collapsed buildings, and piles of rubble testified to the extent of the damage on June 12. In the Palestinian Territories, witnesses reported that between 10 and 15 homes in Maghazi were now uninhabitable. Families already displaced by previous fighting explained that they had once again lost essential belongings, including furniture, clothing, and basic necessities. In Deir al-Balah, residents searched through the rubble for salvageable items while others tried to clear debris. These strikes come as a truce is supposed to remain in effect. Much of Gaza remains heavily damaged, and the lack of a clear reconstruction timeline continues to fuel uncertainty for thousands of displaced people.
