Members of the Indonesian House of Representatives emphasized that the government is not anti-criticism regarding the MBG program

Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives  Moreno Soeprapto, emphasized that the government is not at all against criticism from the public, especially regarding the Free Nutritious Meals  program.

Met after attending the Grand Roll Call and Joint Exercise with MBG Malang Raya Sympathizers at Tugu Square, Malang City Hall, East Java, Saturday, Moreno said the government actually continues to accommodate and respond to all criticism by improving the institutional governance of the National Nutrition Agency  to the process of implementing programs in the field.

"The government is conducting an evaluation, and that's good, and the proof is that action was taken yesterday. The government isn't immune to public criticism," Moreno said.

According to him, criticism is normal, but its delivery must not lead to the spread of hatred which could have an impact on the unity of the nation.

The public is invited to help the Indonesian House of Representatives and the government to jointly oversee the sustainability of this strategic program so that its implementation runs even better in the future.

"We want to achieve a Golden Indonesia, so we need to prepare the next generation. If we're taught to slander and accustomed to hate, that's certainly not good," he said.

On that occasion, he stated that overall, the MBG program had a good concept. Besides meeting children's nutritional needs, the program also had an impact on the community's economic cycle.

The DPR member from the Malang Raya Electoral District (Dapil) stated that from his experiences when visiting Malang City, Batu City, and Malang Regency, both livestock breeders and farmers responded positively to the MBG program.
