BRI Super League club Persita Tangerang announced that it will release 13 of its players during the pre-season ahead of the 2026/2027 competition.
Quoted from the club's official website, Thursday, the 13 players released by Persita Tangerang consisted of four foreign players and nine local players.
An official statement from Persita Tangerang explained that the 13 players were released along with the end of their contracts with Pendekar Cisadane.
"This release is part of the evaluation process and formation of the new Pendekar Cisadane squad ahead of the 2026/2027 season, which is scheduled to begin next September," the club's official statement read.
The four foreign players released by Persita Tangerang are Bae Sin Yeong (South Korea), Matheus Alves (Brazil), Dejan Racic and Ramon Bueno (Spain).
Meanwhile, the local players who were released were Muhammad Toha, Andrean Benyamin, Ahmad Fahd, Badrian Ilham, Rafi Pamungkas, Jack Brown, Fairuz Ohorella, Cois Artomoro, and Tegar Infantrie.

After announcing the release of 13 players, Persita Tangerang is expected to begin strengthening the team under coach Carlos Pena.
In the 2025/2026 BRI Super League competition, Persita Tangerang finished 10th in the final standings with 45 points from 34 matches.
