The Directorate of Water and Air Police of the Metropolitan Police distributed wheelchairs and compassionate gifts to coastal residents in need in the Marunda area, Cilincing, through a social activity entitled "Jaga On The Spot".
Director of the Water Police of the Metropolitan Police, Senior Commissioner Mustofa, in his statement said that the health service activity was a form of the National Police's concern for coastal communities, especially those with physical limitations.
"This wheelchair assistance is provided as a form of our concern for coastal communities in need. We hope it will help with daily activities and ease the burden on families," said Mustofa.
The wheelchair assistance was handed over directly to Warsinah, a resident of Kampung Bidara, Marunda Subdistrict, Cilincing District, who is known to have suffered from chronic stroke.
In addition to handing over wheelchairs, the ranks of the Ditpolairud Polda Metro Jaya also distributed tokens of appreciation to a number of local residents as a tangible manifestation of the police's presence and concern for the lower classes.
