Real Madrid has officially signed French center-back Ibrahima Konate on a free transfer after terminating his contract with Liverpool.
Real Madrid announced Konate's signing on their official website.
"Real Madrid and Ibrahima Konate have reached an agreement for the player to remain at Real Madrid for the next four seasons until June 30, 2030," the club said in a statement.
Konate's arrival comes after Madrid completed the transfers of Bernardo Silva from Manchester City and Marc Cucurella from Chelsea.
The recruitment of two experienced players with long careers in the Premier League is proof of Los Blancos' seriousness in strengthening the squad for the new season.
