Creative Economy Minister Teuku Riefky Harsya is encouraging the presence of intellectual property as added value in a work while strengthening the creative economy ecosystem.
This effort is carried out by supporting the implementation of the Indonesia Game Expo and Indonesia Diecast Expo 2026, which can be part of the development of IP in the creative ecosystem, especially the games and crafts sub-sectors
According to Riefky, who is also the Head of the Creative Economy Agency, in a statement received, the sustainability of an event and the birth of IP from industry players are important aspects that need to be continuously supported.
"On the other hand, we want to strengthen the IP generated from the content and local exhibitors involved. The Ministry of Creative Economy is ready to collaborate with IGX and IDE with various strategic partners to strengthen the organization of creative events in Indonesia," he said.
IGX itself is an annual pop culture celebration that offers an immersive experience combining anime, games, and comics in one platform. IDE, meanwhile, is an IP event known as the largest community and collector's center for diecast in Southeast Asia.
Langgeng Pariwara Internasional Account Executive Irfanda Fikiransyah said IDE 2026 will promote the spirit of togetherness.
"Indonesia has many talented customizers , and some of them have even been trusted to collaborate with well-known diecast brands. This shows that Indonesia's creative talent is highly competitive both nationally and internationally," said Irfanda.
This event is designed to provide a fun and interactive experience for visitors. People can come to play, try out various products, and experience firsthand the quality of games and local products.
IGX CEO Andry Gosal said that IGX is here to show that the world of pop culture has a broad and interconnected scope, from entertainment to other creative products.
