Bloomberg reported that World Economic Forum founder Klaus Schwab went to the police after a listening device was discovered in his Geneva home.

The agency stated that the listening device in Schwab's home was discovered during a routine inspection of the security systems at his residence located near the headquarters of the World Economic Forum.

Initial estimates indicate that the device was implanted within the last three years.

Swiss authorities have begun investigating the circumstances surrounding the planting of the listening device in order to identify those involved.

The Wall Street Journal reported that Schwab sent letters to members of the World Economic Forum's management with a number of demands, threatened to file lawsuits against them, and demanded his reinstatement to the Forum's management.
