Three Palestinians from one family, a couple and their child, were killed, and two children were injured, in Israeli attacks on various areas of the Gaza Strip early Wednesday morning .
This comes as part of Israel’s continued violations of the ceasefire agreement in effect in the Gaza Strip since October 10, 2025.
In Deir al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip, a medical source at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital reported the arrival of the bodies of Omar Abu Qassem (33 years old), his wife Asma Abu Qassem (32 years old), and their daughter Habiba (6 years old), along with their son Sami (4 years old), who was injured, as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted their home.
Eyewitnesses and local sources said that an Israeli helicopter fired two missiles at a residential apartment belonging to the Abu Qassem family near the Al-Baraka roundabout in Deir al-Balah.
According to medical sources, the child Sami, the family's only son, survived the bombing, but suffered moderate burns and injuries.
The bombing also caused a fire in the targeted house, which civil defense crews were able to extinguish.
In the northern Gaza Strip, a child sustained minor injuries in an Israeli drone strike that targeted the Ansar Rehabilitation Center, also known as the "Battalion Prison," west of the city, according to a medical source.
Local sources also reported that Israeli army vehicles fired heavily towards the remaining Palestinian homes in the Abu Zeitoun area, east of the Jabalia camp, without any reported injuries.
In Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip, Israeli drones dropped explosive bombs near the Bani Suheila roundabout east of the city, without causing any injuries, according to local sources and eyewitnesses.
According to the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip, Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement, up to Tuesday, have resulted in the martyrdom of 1,110 Palestinians and the injury of 3,599 others.
Israel launched a genocidal war on the Gaza Strip starting on October 8, 2023, which lasted for two years, resulting in the martyrdom of more than 73,000 Palestinians and the injury of more than 173,000, in addition to widespread destruction affecting about 90 percent of the civilian infrastructure.
