Indonesian tennis player Aldila Sutjiadi has decided to take a break after completing her campaign at Wimbledon 2026 before continuing her preparations for the series of tournaments in the United States.
Aldila said she hadn't had time to enjoy any downtime since arriving in London, having previously competed in Bad Homburg, where she won her first WTA 500 doubles title late last month.
"Of course, after today, tomorrow I will be off traveling, because after coming here from Bad Homburg, there hasn't been a day off, so I haven't had time to go sightseeing in London," said Aldila, as quoted by SPOTV on Tuesday.
"I'll be taking a few days off, and will most likely fly straight to America to prepare for the next US Swing tournament."
Aldila ended her journey at Wimbledon after losing with Argentinian tennis player Guido Andreozzi to Australian pair Marc Polmans/Storm Hunter in the mixed doubles quarter-finals with 6-7(7), 5-7 at the All England Club, London.
