A medical source reported that the bodies of six Palestinians, including a woman, arrived at Al-Shifa Hospital and the American field hospital as a result of Israeli shelling in the vicinity of Shadia School in the Al-Faluja area, west of Jabalia camp.
The Ministry of Interior and National Security in the Gaza Strip said in a statement that among the martyrs was the director of the Jabalia camp police station, Colonel Muhammad Marwan Salem, along with a number of police officers and personnel, as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted a police point in the area.
Eyewitnesses said an Israeli drone targeted a Palestinian police post in the area, which is crowded with tents for displaced people and shelters.
Earlier, a medical source reported that a Palestinian was killed and three others were wounded in an Israeli drone strike that targeted a tent sheltering displaced people near the Tayba Towers west of Khan Younis in the south.
In another incident, the child Mu’taz Abu Sha’ar was killed by Israeli occupation army fire in the Mawasi area of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, according to the same source.
The death toll from the genocide is rising
Earlier today, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Tuesday that two Palestinians were killed and 21 others were injured in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of victims of the genocide committed by Israel since October 2023 to 73,233 martyrs.
The ministry said in its daily statistical statement that hospitals in the sector received "two martyrs and 21 wounded" during the past 24 hours.
The ministry did not clarify the circumstances of the deaths of the two martyrs and the injuries, while the Israeli occupation army continues its violations of the ceasefire agreement, through bombing and shooting in various areas of the sector.
The ministry indicated that "a number of victims are still under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews have been unable to reach them until this moment."
She added that the death toll from Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement, since it came into effect in October 2025, has risen to 1,110 martyrs and 3,599 wounded.
She explained that the death toll from the Israeli genocide since October 2023 has risen to 73,233 martyrs and 173,707 wounded.
The agreement was reached two years after a genocide that began with Israel on October 8, 2023, which, in addition to the victims, left widespread destruction affecting 90% of the civilian infrastructure, with reconstruction costs estimated by the United Nations at about $70 billion.
