Secretary General of the Indonesian Basketball Association Central Executive Board, Nirmala Dewi, said eight new rules were created to address the challenges of current basketball developments based on the results of a plenary meeting.
"Eight of the 10 new regulations are designed to meet the needs of current basketball developments," he said on Friday.
Nirmala explained that the eight new rules regulate the implementation of 5on5 basketball activities, 5on5 basketball sports personnel, minibasketball, the implementation of activities and management of 3x3 basketball sports personnel, and the transfer of athletes.
Meanwhile, one of the old rules that was updated was the rule regarding ethics and discipline.
In that meeting, regulations regarding ethics and discipline were separated into two separate regulations.
