Mark Zuckerberg predicts billions of people will have personal AI agents

Meta founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg predicts that billions of people will have personal artificial intelligence (AI) agents in the next five years.

According to TechCrunch , Zuckerberg made the prediction during the company's quarterly earnings conference with investors.

"I think it's highly unlikely that if you look five years out, for example—whatever time period you want—that you won't have billions of people with personal agents who understand your goals and who are working on your behalf 24/7 to achieve your goals in whatever area you care about," he said.

According to him, people in the future will use AI agents to help them solve financial, health, interpersonal, and household management problems.

"As we move towards a future where we all interact with multiple agents, I think WhatsApp and our other messaging platforms will become increasingly important," Zuckerberg said.

He added that WhatsApp has become a leading platform where users interact with Meta AI.
