Russian Deputy Security Council Chairman Dmitry Medvedev announced that Russia is currently at a very important point to end its special military operation in Ukraine

Russian Deputy Security Council Chairman Dmitry Medvedev announced that Russia is currently at a very important point to end its special military operation in Ukraine.

This came during Medvedev's participation in the "Gvardesk" Youth Forum, where he addressed members of the party's youth movement, 17 of whom had gone to the area of the special military operation, and said: "We are already standing at a very important point for the end of the special military operation. I am confident that you will contribute to our victory."

The head of the Russian Security Council stressed that the decision to participate in the special military operation is not easy and involves risks, but it confirms true patriotism. He added, addressing the volunteers: "The only thing I would like to say to you is: protect yourselves. We need victory, but not at any price."

Medvedev had previously stated that the conflict in Ukraine would undoubtedly end in a Russian victory, indicating his confidence in achieving the goals of the military operation launched by Moscow in February 2022.

Medvedev's remarks come in conjunction with Western reports that spoke of Russia's readiness to hold new negotiations, while Russian forces continued their gradual advance on several fronts in eastern Ukraine, amid talk of the depletion of military resources on both sides.
