Indonesian boxing coach Kamanit Nareerakx said he has prepared a strategy for his players Anggie Intania Chalik and Dira Artika, who will face Indian boxers in the final of the 2026 Asian U19 and U23 Boxing Championships.
,Kamanit had analyzed the strengths of Indian boxers Gunjan and Prachi, who will be Anggie and Dira's opponents.
According to Kamanit, the two Indian boxers have different dominant hands, but both have a high punching range.
"We've prepared our boxing style to focus on body shots and feints to initiate attacks. That's the plan," Kamanit said.
Anggie in the final of the U19 women's light flyweight (45-48kg) faced Indian boxer Gunjan, while Dira faced another Indian boxer Prachi in the final of the U19 women's featherweight (57kg) class.
The two final matches of the Indonesian boxers are scheduled to take place in session 18 of the 2026 U19 and U23 Asian Boxing Championships at the Basket Hall, Jakarta, Wednesday (15/7) starting at 13.00 WIB.
The Thai coach continued that all of Anggie and Dira's preparations had gone well and it was hoped that both of them would deliver maximum results.
Kamanit explained that there were several aspects that Anggie and Dira had prepared to face the final match later.
"I've prepared the athletes, given them adequate rest, and continued training with the same program. I've given them what they need," Kamanit said.
