Vice President Gibran Rakabuming visited the Raden Mattaher Regional General Hospital (RSUD) in Jambi to ensure the strengthening of health services, including the availability of specialist doctors and adequate equipment.
According to a statement from the Vice President's Secretariat received in Jakarta on Friday, the Vice President inspected a number of health service facilities and held a dialogue with the management of Raden Mattaher Regional Hospital regarding efforts to strengthen services at the provincial referral hospital during the inspection.
On that occasion, the President Director of Raden Mattaher Regional Hospital, Iwan Hendrawan, explained that the condition of hospital services and several aspects still need to be strengthened. The Vice President then responded to the presentation positively and emphasized the government's commitment to continue strengthening hospital health services in Indonesia.
"In principle, the Vice President will assist with services, especially as we are a provincial referral hospital," said Iwan.
