The celebrations of the Spanish national team for winning the 2026 FIFA World Cup witnessed a strange incident in which the Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo was mocked.
The Spanish national team, led by coach Luis de la Fuente, returned home where they celebrated among their fans in an open parade, preceded by a special tribute at the Royal Palace.
On the evening of the same day, the Spanish national team players headed to Cibeles Square to celebrate with the fans their second World Cup title, where each player was presented in a special way.
When introducing the player Yeremi Pinault, the presenter sarcastically said: "They used to call him Cristiano Ronaldo, but now he already has a World Cup," referring to the absence of that championship from the Portuguese star's trophy cabinet despite his participation in 6 editions of the tournament.
The Spanish national team had succeeded in winning the World Cup title after their victory over Argentina by one goal to nil on the evening at the "MetLife" stadium.
