Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs Meutya Hafid stated that the use of appropriate technology in the Social Protection digitalization program has optimally integrated Indonesian community data, enabling targeted assistance to be provided.
He said this step is important to ensure that people entitled to receive social protection are no longer overlooked, as often happened when the data collection system was still done manually.
"Technology must work for the people. Connected data must lead to easier services, and easier services must ensure that people's rights are provided quickly, accurately, and fairly," said Meutya during a trial of the Perlinsos digitalization in Sleman Regency.
Discussing more specifically the role of the Ministry of Communication and Digital in Perlinsos, Meutya said that her ministry was involved in procuring the Government Service Liaison System as one of the important foundations in the digitalization of Perlinsos.
Through SPLP, various government electronic systems can be connected and share data securely to support simpler, faster, and more targeted services.
