Samsung Galaxy S27 series cancels iPhone camera feature

Samsung has reportedly canceled plans for the Galaxy S27 series to use the same camera features as those in the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro series .

The feature in question is a variable aperture , which according to some circulating information is believed to appear on the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.

Samsung canceled the inclusion of the variable aperture feature in the main camera of the Galaxy S27 series, apparently due to cost reasons.

In addition, the presence of the variable aperture feature can actually make the camera protrusion thicker.

In general, this feature should allow the camera to adjust the lens aperture (diaphragm) automatically or manually to regulate the amount of light entering the sensor.
