According to Reuters, the Muse Charm is about the size of an Apple AirPods case, and features a touchscreen nearly two inches in size, along with built-in 5G connectivity. Meta plans to launch the device during the holiday season in December, but has not yet announced its price.

The device is part of a broader strategy to develop post-smartphone (meta) devices.
The device can be carried or attached to a keychain, and its use relies heavily on voice commands, while retaining a small screen for support functions.
This format targets quick tasks that do not require a full phone screen, such as requesting information or performing a simple procedure, thus reducing the number of steps required to complete the task.
Muse becomes a personal agent
Muse Charm is linked to the developments that Meta is working to introduce to its artificial intelligence assistant, Muse, which the company seeks to present as a personal agent capable of performing tasks rather than simply answering questions.
During the Connect conference, Meta announced the expansion of Muse's capabilities to include connecting to a wider range of services and stores, in addition to performing tasks such as shopping, booking appointments, and managing certain procedures via voice commands.
The company also announced that Muse will have his own email address that can be used to perform certain tasks or to communicate with him, in a move that reflects a trend towards expanding the assistant's capabilities beyond traditional conversation.
Meta also plans to integrate Muse into its smart glasses, so that the system can rely on what the user is looking at to understand the surrounding context. According to the company, this could allow the user to ask about a product on a shelf, read a long list, or deal with information in front of them without having to take out their phone.
