According to him, strokes in people under the age of 20-25 may occur as a complication of endocrine diseases, or be related to genetic diseases or the use of certain medications.

To reduce this risk, the doctor recommends following the principles of the Mediterranean diet, limiting the consumption of fried and spicy foods, abstaining from alcohol, avoiding overeating, and relying on small meals.

In addition, he recommends maintaining cognitive functions through memory training, learning foreign languages, solving crossword puzzles, reading simplified science books, and participating in competitions.

The doctor urges special attention to periodic medical examinations, which help to identify risk factors and assess the patient's condition in a timely manner, including blood tests, hemoglobin level measurement, lipid level analysis, electrocardiogram, and ultrasound angiography of the neck.

For his part, academician Sergei Boytsov, a cardiologist, points out that speech disturbances, weakness or loss of the ability to move the arms and legs, and facial deformities are among the main signs of a stroke.

It is recommended to consult a cardiologist if shortness of breath occurs during normal physical activity, or if swelling appears in the legs, or if blood pressure rises.
