The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that the death toll from the genocide committed by Israel against the Palestinians since October 2023 has risen to 73,928.

This came in the ministry’s daily statistical report, which stated that hospitals in the Gaza Strip received 5 martyrs during the past 24 hours, including a Palestinian who died from his wounds, in addition to 35 injured people.
The ministry explained that the death toll since the ceasefire has reached 1,408 Palestinians, while the number of wounded has reached 4,916.
On the ground, that the young man, Muhannad Abu Madin, was killed by a gunshot wound while he was in the west of Al-Zahra city, south of Gaza City.
The attacks carried out by the occupation forces on the eastern areas of Gaza City continued, with intermittent shelling and heavy gunfire targeting the neighborhoods of Al-Tuffah and Al-Shuja’iyya. Loud explosions were heard again, resulting from the demolition of new buildings in the areas beyond the “yellow line”.
Heavy gunfire and flares were also reported in areas northwest of Beit Lahia, in the far north of the Gaza Strip.
A citizen was killed and others were injured as a result of the occupation aircraft targeting a vehicle in the vicinity of the American Hospital west of the town of Al-Zawaida in the central Gaza Strip. In another incident, a woman was injured by occupation forces’ bullets while walking on 20th Street north of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Another citizen was also wounded by gunfire from Israeli tanks at the nearby Bureij camp, whose northeastern edges were also targeted.
In an Israeli drone strike targeting the central area of Khan Younis city in the southern Gaza Strip, five citizens were injured. Occupation vehicles deployed near the “yellow line” south of Khan Younis city attacked several neighboring areas crowded with displaced people.
Thus, the toll of the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip has risen to 73,928 martyrs and 175,030 wounded, while the total number of bodies recovered since the ceasefire has reached 834.
Israel destroyed about 90 percent of the civilian infrastructure in the Gaza Strip, while the United Nations estimated the cost of reconstruction at about $70 billion.
