The verification process aims to ensure that the KDKMP building complies with specifications before entering the operational phase.
Tito stated at the Ministry of Home Affairs building in Jakarta on Monday that village heads need to provide a letter of approval to allow for the verification and validation process. The letter does not constitute a declaration that the building has been accepted or that it meets specifications.
"The village head issued a letter agreeing to the verification and validation process. It wasn't a statement that the project met the specifications we received," he said during a discussion on verification and validation related to the KDKMP.
The Minister of Home Affairs explained that approximately 24,000 village/sub-district cooperatives have been built throughout Indonesia. These buildings require verification and validation to ensure they meet established specifications and standards.
After the letter is issued, a team from the Ministry of Public Works (PU) and the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency can carry out verification.
This process can also be assisted by the Government Internal Supervisory Apparatus from the district/city inspectorate if the Ministry of Public Works and BPKP lack personnel.
