In the past few hours, the name of Mohamed Hany has been circulating among the list of players linked with a possible move to Trabzonspor, given the presence of his compatriot Mohamed Salah with the team.
The speculation comes at a time when Mohamed Hany’s future is shrouded in mystery, especially with his contract with Al-Ahly nearing its end at the end of the current season, which has led some to talk about the possibility of him moving to Europe during the upcoming winter transfer window.
However, Ertugrul Dogan explicitly denied Trabzonspor's interest in signing Mohamed Hany, confirming that his club had not made any offer to sign the Al-Ahly player.
The president of Trabzonspor said in a direct statement: "It is not true that we have made an offer or that we are interested in signing Mohamed Hany."
Ertugrul Dogan's statements settle the debate about the possibility of Mohamed Hany meeting Mohamed Salah at Trabzonspor, after the president of the Turkish club confirmed that there was no offer or interest from his club to sign the Al-Ahly defender.
Al Ahly had made a final offer to Mohamed Hany to renew his contract, but the player has not yet agreed to the offer, due to a disagreement over one of the contract clauses, leaving speculation about his future in the coming period.
