Apple has announced a new launch event expected to focus on an all-new MacBook, believed to be the first with a touchscreen.

The event, titled "Pro and Tell," will be held in Los Angeles on October 28, and Apple has invited press representatives to attend.
Greg Joswiak, the company's marketing manager, announced the event via a post on the "X" platform.
The main product expected at this event is the new "MacBook Pro" with a touch screen, which confirmed previous speculations about Apple working on this type of device.
Despite criticism from company officials, including new CEO John Ternos, regarding the practicality of these devices, the new device is expected to be lighter than the current model, equipped with the M5 Pro and Max chips, and an OLED screen like the iPhone, featuring a Dynamic Aperture at the top of the display. Due to these improvements, the device is expected to be more expensive than current models.
In addition, speculation suggests that Apple plans to release a new iPad Mini, an updated iMac, and an upgraded version of the budget-friendly 14-inch MacBook Pro.
This is Apple’s third event in two months, following the launch of the iPhone in September and another event last week about products aimed at homes, where the HomeView smart display and updates to the Apple TV and HomePods were introduced.
Since taking over leadership in September, John Ternos has been working to accelerate the introduction of new products to expand Apple's lineup, having already overseen the launch of the iPhone Duo, the company's first foldable device, as well as HomeView.
