Pervi Sport reported via Telegram that Deolgeroff took off his trousers and tore his shirt before shouting loudly after his victory over Carlsen.
The victory came after Carlsen made a mistake in moving the chess castle, allowing the Bulgarian player to impose two consecutive checkmates, according to the report.
The confrontation ended with Carlsen losing on move 21.
This victory contributed to the Dewolgeroff team winning the championship, which had a prize purse of $25,000.
Carlsen won the World Chess Championship title in 2013 and remains one of the most prominent names in the game, as well as holding the top spot in the International Chess Federation's rankings.
