Kristine Mo, Vice President of Global Markets and Ecosystems at AI² Robotics, said Indonesia offers significant opportunities for collaborative development in robotics. The company hopes to bring Chinese-made, embodied intelligence-based multipurpose robots to the Indonesian market through collaboration with local partners.
"We see a huge collaboration opportunity to bring this technology to Indonesia," Kristine said in a session at the Danantara Technology Innovation Investment Forum 2026.
Kristine revealed four pillars of partnership to develop her business in Indonesia: technology transfer, research and education collaboration, development of real-world robot applications, and strengthening local operations.
Through technology transfer, the company plans to introduce robots with a tangible intelligence model that allows them to understand human commands, respond to environmental conditions, and complete tasks independently. The robots will also be equipped with special capabilities to perform various tasks according to the needs of the Indonesian market.
The company also wants to identify opportunities for implementing robots in the manufacturing, logistics and public service sectors in Indonesia.
To support this implementation, AI² Robotics believes local partnerships are necessary to assist with robot maintenance, provide support services, and develop applications tailored to local market needs.
"We are very open to collaborating with Indonesia and look forward to bringing this versatile robot to Indonesia and realizing productive and beneficial collaborations," said Kristine.
